What to check for Semiconductors
Intel publishes material declarations under a product ecology programme, and boxed retail parts and tray parts can carry different documentation because the packaging itself is in scope for a boxed product. If you buy tray processors for integration, make sure the document you file is the tray one.
What a usable RoHS declaration contains
- The part number and package variant covered.
- The issue date of the document.
- The directive revision, including the 2015/863 phthalate amendment.
- Every exemption claimed, by its number.
- A named signatory.
