What to check in this category

ST grades packages under its own ECOPACK scheme, and the grade is not the same claim as a RoHS declaration. ECOPACK2 additionally means halogen free to IEC 61249-2-21, which is a customer specification rather than a legal requirement. If your technical file needs a regulatory statement, ask for the declaration document and not only the ECOPACK grade printed on the datasheet.
