REACH Declaration: JST | Where to find it and what it must contain

JST (Japan) makes wire to board connectors, crimp terminals and housings. This page explains where their REACH documentation is published and how to tell whether the document you receive is usable.

What to check in this category

If you buy a finished cable assembly rather than loose terminals, the wire is part of the article and PVC insulation brings phthalates into scope. DEHP, BBP, DBP and DIBP have been RoHS restricted since Directive 2015/863 at 0.1% by weight. A declaration covering the connector but not the wire leaves the restricted substance uncovered.
