What to check for Circuit protection
An EMC filter is an assembly containing X and Y class capacitors, common mode chokes, a metal enclosure and often a potting compound. The capacitors inside it are film or ceramic parts from other suppliers, so ask whether the declaration was compiled from those sub supplier declarations or written at the filter level only.
