What to check for Connectors and electromechanical

Terminal blocks run on copper alloys, and free machining brass contains lead. Almost all of them rely on RoHS exemption 6c for copper alloys up to four percent lead by weight. A declaration that says RoHS compliant without naming 6c is incomplete, because that exemption carries a review date and a plated contact can additionally raise nickel release limits under REACH Annex XVII entry 27.
