What to check for Cable management
Cable ties and wiring duct are polymer articles, mostly nylon and PVC, and the additive package is the whole substance question. PVC duct raises phthalate plasticisers and older formulations raised lead stabilisers, while flame retardant grades raise a different set again. The declaration has to name the compound, not the product family.
What a usable RoHS declaration contains
- The part number and package variant covered.
- The issue date of the document.
- The directive revision, including the 2015/863 phthalate amendment.
- Every exemption claimed, by its number.
- A named signatory.
