What to check for Connectors and electromechanical
Gold and tin plating over nickel is standard here, and the REACH nickel release restriction only bites on articles in prolonged skin contact, which board level connectors are not. What does matter is the SVHC threshold of 0.1% by weight, and the article it applies to is the connector itself, not the finished assembly it sits in.
What a usable RoHS declaration contains
- The part number and package variant covered.
- The issue date of the document.
- The directive revision, including the 2015/863 phthalate amendment.
